No. A play link opens and runs in any browser, on any phone, with nothing to install and no account. Team sheet links work the same way.
Is it a subscription?

Does it work on Android or on a laptop?
The app is for iPhone and iPad. On a laptop, a desktop or an Android device, use the web app in your browser. It is built for a bigger screen, and signing in with an Apple ID keeps it in sync with the app.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. On iPhone and iPad your plays, sessions and squads are stored on the device, so everything works pitchside with no signal. They sync through iCloud when you are back online.
Can my fellow players or coaches see my plays?
